O2wear is an Australian owned business established in 2011 by Adelaide-born Anna.
After several years working in Adelaide, initially as an accountant, Anna created O2wear during the two years she spent living and studying in Beijing and Shanghai.
O2wear specialises in versatile everyday basics for women. A love of layering and a quest to find quality, affordable basics made from natural fibres inspired the creation of O2wear. O2wear basics are made from silky soft bamboo fibre; a light-weight, breathable, natural alternative to the synthetic fibres commonly found in today's clothing. O2wear's collection of basics range from camisoles and t-shirts through to the incredibly popular long sleeve tops and leggings.
The O2wear range is made from silky soft bamboo viscose. Native to China, bamboo grows prolifically with very little need for irrigation or pesticides, making it a more sustainable option than many other fibres. A bit of spandex keeps it fitted and staying in shape.
O2wear is an online store, shipping worldwide from our base in Adelaide, South Australia. We also have a number of wholesalers selling O2wear online and in store. Please visit our wholesale page for further information.
All the bamboo fibre tees, camisoles and leggings were designed by Anna in conjunction with the skilled manufacturing team. See our full range of bamboo clothing in our online store.
A considerable amount of time was devoted to researching, contacting and visiting manufacturers in China to ensure O2wear products were sourced from a reputable company commited to producing high-quality products, with a focus on sustainable materials & practices.
O2wear bamboo clothing is made from bamboo viscose, spandex, and a little organic cotton can be found in the leggings. This mix ensures our products resist pilling, spring back into shape after washing and are long-wearing and long-lasting.
All O2wear products are made from bamboo fabric that is certified by the Oeko-tex 100 Standard meaning there are no chemicals or toxins remaining in the fabric after it has been processed into fibres. Quality assurance is regularly monitored by Anna and representatives in China.
